World vice champion Lyazzat Kungeybayeva commented on her victory in the championship of Kazakhstan in an interview to the official site of the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation.

- I have the most positive impressions, says Lyazzat. - I'm glad that the tournament was successful for me. The final fight against Umida Sadykova was not easy, but I managed to overcome my rival due to commitment and correctly chosen tactics. Major effort had been put into the preparation to the tournament. My leg got injured before the championship of Kazakhstan and I had concerns about my participation in this championship. But to my delight everything went well.

- In the final fight we saw the showdown boxing...

- Perhaps it was also due to the injury that made it difficult to move around the ring. The recovery process is still ongoing. I hope that in a month I'll be able to get into optimal shape.

- There is the World Cup ahead of us. What goals do you set for the world championship?

- Certainly this is a landmark event for the whole Kazakhstan sports. I will try to show all my best qualities to please our fans with a good result.

- Who do you consider to be the main contenders at the World Cup?

- The Championship will bring together the strongest people from all over the world. I think that everyone should be taken very seriously. Of course the Russian representatives will be especially dangerous.

- The fans have high hopes for you and expect you to get a gold medal...

- I hope I will achieve the goal.
